Artakama also takes its name from an ancient Persian noblewoman who played a role in upholding Cyrus the Great’s early charter of human rights—considered the first of its kind (currently residing in the British Museum). The name is fitting: at Enotecca, leadership and innovation are driven by women at every level. From proprietor and winemaker/viticulturist to our customer service manager, tasting room supervisor, accountant, and bookkeeper, more than half of our core team are female.

Showcases the importance of all the aspects of terroir while minimizing the role of man with a very small person holding a hoe (evidence of our manual labour non systematic or conventional work) + a dog drinking water from the lake/pond: testament to clean and holistic farming so the run off of water in the pond/lake is clean and entirely free of pesticide and herbicides.
We borrow from the single malt world and use the spider diagram to share with the drinker about the aromatic profile of the wine, while the x axis tells you about the structural make up of the wine.
Nothing added, nothing removed. We follow low-input, low-intervention farming and embrace hands-off natural winemaking. Nothing is added and nothing is taken away, except for a minimal dose of sulphites at bottling (25–35 ppm, compared to the certified EU organic allowance of 100 ppm or VQA limits up to 250 ppm). This tiny addition ensures stability during transport, assuming proper cellar storage.
